The hunt for the world's best kiteboarders never stops and Red Bull King of the Air is extending its qualifying series with a new event at Balneario Beach in Tarifa, Spain.
The competition will take place at Playa Balneario, Tarifa, within a wind window from 1st to 30th June 2025. The exact date will be determined by optimal wind conditions. A total of 18 riders will compete in Tarifa: four will receive wildcard invitations, while the remaining 14 will be chosen through the video contest.
The spot is located at the point where the Mediterranean and Atlantic winds collide, creating epic conditions for the riders to show they've got what it takes. The winner will earn themself a place at the legendary event in Cape Town at the end of the year.
